6 apples
1/2 lemon juice
50 g sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Crumble ingredients
175 g plain flour
85 g caster sugar
85 grams Stork
Baking tin
shallow baking dish about 1L capacity (greased)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°C, 180 °C fan oven, Gas mark 6.
Peel the apples, remove the cores and cut the apples into pieces and place in a pan. Squeeze over the lemon juice and stir in the sugar with the apple.
Cook the apples for 5 minutes over a moderate heat, stirring regularly. Add the cinnamon. Cool slightly while you make the crumble.
Place the flour, sugar, and Stork in a large bowl and mix with a fork to a crumble.
Spoon the apple mixture into an ovenproof dish. Sprinkle the crumble on top.
Bake the apple crumble in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Serve.
